The case for annuities AND professional administration

This inquiry received through the comments section of our
blog says it best:
" My question is I have a 300.000 msa annuity that I
want to sale what would I have to do to sale it for a lump some".
Fortunately for all concerned, annuities purchased on behalf of workers' compensation claimants cannot be transferred for a lump sum. So while it doesn't look like complying with the self-administered MSA guidelines is high on this claimant's to-do list, at least not all of his/her Medicare Set-Aside funds can be squandered in year one.
